Coming from a premium-priced set of CADEX Classics (28mm width) I decided to go with a slightly more affordable set of 28mm Agilest Duros for my Giant TCR road bike. The Agilest DURO TLR slots in a similar spot as the CADEX Classics do in CADEX's lineup, which is a more durable version of the premium road-race offering. I'm a135 pounds so I am following SILCA's tire pressure recommendation of 64psi front and 66psi rear on my 21mm internal width wheels. My first impressions are that the tires feel less supple and slower than my previous set of tires, which is a disappointment. These tires are lighter than the CADEX tires (albeit 20 grams a tire) but feel more sluggish and stiffer. This is coming from someone who has exclusively installed Panaracer GKs (slick, SS, and SKs) on his gravel rig (for the past 20,000 miles) and has nothing but good things to say about the gravel lineup. For the road stuff though, I am still not convinced. Currently, I have about 300 miles on these tires so time will tell if my opinions change. I dare to say that these tires feel similar to a training tire that I used which was almost half the price and a 100 grams heavier.
I got this installed on Envy 45 wheels on my Allez Sprint. Needed a more comfortable ride and this just exceeded expectations. First road tire woth panaracers. I'm a Gravelking SS user.
Panaracer best Tires out there.
