Great Tire for My Vintage Cannondale

My LBS recommended this tire for the vintage Cannondale ST500 I purchased from him. I was going to use Continental Gator Skin tires for their puncture protection, but I opted for the Paselas instead for their smooth, supple ride. These tires ride so well that my Cannondale rides BETTER than my CroMo road bike! I didn't expect that, as aluminum bikes normally have a stiffer, more jarring ride. I also like the tan sidewall, which adds to the vintage look and style of the bike. Visually, they add that something extra that makes the bike look better; they really "pop"! I can't comment on these tires' puncture protection or durability, as I've only had them a short time. You get Japanese quality at an affordable price. Overall, these tires ride and roll well. If you want a smooth, supple, yet fast ride, these tires will serve you well.

Excellent ride, vintage look.

A very nice tire. The ride is smooth and grippy and offers some cushioning. The look is vintage and it really sets off my all-chrome 1984 Schwinn. For this type of quality, the value is outstanding. Only minor dig is that they don't wear as well as harder nylon tires, however at this price, it's not a problem. I'm on my third pair in 8 years, but I ride a lot. I highly recommend, I buy these exclusively..

Ol' Faithful

I had this brand of tire put on my bike years ago at a bicycle shop and was always pleased with the way they rode. I chose to replace them recently from wear just to be safe and decided to stick with them. After my research I found the Panaracer web page and yup, they still looked familiar to my previous set. Ordered them, installed and they not only look awesome, they feel nice as before. A famous quote from one of my favorite movies, "Hey, when something works I stick with it''. Another great quote, ''Try it, you'll like it!"
